HOMEMADE BUTTERFINGER CANDY BARS!

HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT MELTING CANDY CORN (YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT!) AND ADDING PEANUT BUTTER TO CREATE A BUTTERFINGER CANDY BAR? I COULDN'T IMAGINE SUCH A THING AND OF COURSE, HAD TO TRY IT! THE MELTING PROCESS LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRED BUT I MUST ADMIT....IN THE END-ONCE DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE, IT REALLY DID TASTE LIKE A BUTTERFINGER!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!

MELT 5 OUNCES CANDY CORN IN THE MICROWAVE. ADD 5 OUNCES PEANUT BUTTER. POUR INTO NONSTICK FOIL LINED PAN. CHILL. CUT AND DIP IN MELTED CHOCOLATE! THIS MAKES A SMALL BATCH-FOR A LARGER BATCH JUST USE EQUAL PARTS CANDY CORN AND PEANUT BUTTER!

This is so funny! I made the same recipe today, but formed the candy corn and peanut butter mixture in to candy corn on a stick, and then dipped in candy melts. So good, and cute! I bet the chocolate added the perfect flavor! I will have to try it!
