TIE DYE CAKE-WOWIE WOW WOW!

HERE IS THE SET-UP I HAD READY FOR A BAKING DATE WITH MY NIECE!

SHE COLORED ALL THE BATTERS ON HER OWN! 6 COLORS FOR OUR TIE DYE CAKE!

OOH LA LA! INTO THE OVEN-HOW COOL DOES THAT LOOK!

TIME TO COOL OUR PSYCHEDELIC LAYERS!

FROSTING FUN! LOOK HOW SHE ADDED PINK SPRINKLES-LOVE IT!

OOOH, MY FAVE! FROSTING TIME! WE USED THE TUBES OF GEL FROSTING FOR THIS AND A PAINTBRUSH!!!

OMG, I MEAN REALLY! HOW CUTE IS SHE!!! AND SO FOCUSED, TOO! THAT'S MY GIRL!

WE WERE PSYCHED TO CUT IN THERE!!!

HERE IS OUR SLICE!
HOPE YOU TRY THIS ONE!

MY NIECE AND I MADE THIS FABULOUSLY EXCITING AND FUN CAKE TOGETHER!!!! WE MADE IT USING 2 BOX MIXES AND A LOT OF VIBRANT FOOD COLORS. EACH BOX MIX MADE 2 LAYERS SO WE DID IT IN 2 SEPARATE BATCHES. FROM THE 2 BOX MIXES, WE MADE 3 LAYERS FOR THE CAKE AND 6 TIE DYE CUPCAKES! I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO PHOTO THE FROSTED CUPCAKES AS THE BOYS WERE EATING THEM FASTER THAN WE COULD SNAP PICTURES! HEAD OVER TO BIRD ON A CAKE FOR THE TUTORIAL! SHE EXPLAINS IT BETTER THAN I CAN!!!

I think I would use skittles instead of M n M's on the TieDye cake :)
