BANANAS FOSTER FRENCH TOAST STUFFED WITH HERSHEY BARS


I'M PRETTY SURE WE'VE ALREADY ESTABLISHED THAT THIS IS NOT A HEALTH FOOD BLOG SO STOP GASPING AT THIS FRENCH TOAST! COME ON, YOU KNOW YOU WANT A BITE!!!

START BY MAKING MY BANANAS FOSTER BREAD STUFFED WITH HERSHEY BARS!  CLICK FOR THE RECIPE
USE THE BREAD FOR THE FRENCH TOAST AFTER IT IS A FEW DAYS OLD AND FIRMER. SLICE THE BREAD, COAT IN A MIXTURE OF 2 BEATEN EGGS AND A SPLASH OF CREAM.  FRY IN SOME BUTTER UNTIL GOLDEN ON BOTH SIDES.

TOPPING:
MELT 1 1/2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER IN A PAN AND ADD 6T. BROWN SUGAR.  STIR UNTIL SUGAR IS MELTED AND BUBBLING.ADD IN 1 SLICED BANANAS (OVER-RIPE) AND COOK IN THE BUTTER/SUGAR MIXTURE FOR ABOUT 4 MINUTES. LET COOL A FEW MINS.  POUR OVER THE FRENCH TOAST!!!!!
