CHOCOLATE STUFFED BRIOCHE..MY QUICK, COPYCAT RECIPE!




NO TIME FOR A DOUBLE RISING DOUGH? HEE HEE  Let me let you in on a little secret!  Pillsbury Grands, Some Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate squares and you're good to go!  Use mini brioche pans or just a regular muffin tin!!!!  

Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk Biscuits
Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Bars, break each square in half
1 beaten egg for egg wash
coarse sugar for sprinkling

1.  Take each biscuit and flatten a bit in your hand. Add half a chocolate square and pinch up the sides forming a ball.  Lay in your pan, seam side down and brush with egg wash.  Sprinkle on sugar and bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until golden.  Stick a small piece of chocolate in the top when it comes out for decoration and serve warm.  Top with powdered sugar, if desired.
